This is a showcase of my journey through Edge in the 2025-2026 school year.
This year we completed multiple projects related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
My newspaper covering Grant's summit.
Students in EDGE wrote a newspaper covering a mock summit performed over issues related to the Colorado River Crisis or Artic Ice Drilling. Individuals choose or were assigned to a student participating in the summit. The assignment was to cover the students, who were each assigned roles, summit contribution.
My conclusion for the case file "When Bonds Break".
For chemistry this year we investigated multiple case files based on real cases. We had to come to a conclusion on the cases using the scientific evidence provided. This is one conclusion I wrote over the case "When Bonds Break"
The logo I designed for my mock program "KC Nature & Eats".
For my presentation to the Missouri Department of Conservation I was assigned the task of marketing to individuals in the 18-21 age group. For this task I marketed my partners idea of food trucks at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center. To accomplish this task, I created an example Instagram to advertise programs at the nature center and the weekly food truck lineups.
Explination of my role in the summit.
This year in EDGE we hosted a mock summit over the issues in the Colorado River Basin and Artic Ice Drilling. Students got the opportunity to select which issue they wanted to participate in. They then had a draft style selection for which role they got. I was Brianna Campbell the autorney for Fondamonte, A saudi alfalfa company. In the summit we discussed and voted on many issues related to the topic.
Can you beat the AI? You are X, AI is O.
How I go from an idea to a finished product...
This Year I developed alot as a learner and a student. EDGE required me to use concepts completely foreign to me. One of which was scheduling my own classes and keeping track of what I had when daily.
EDGE bases its programs and activities around the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The SDGS are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a "shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet" by 2030
